How to elect a Republican President

There are still some dedicated Republicans that remain loyal to their party. The question is how may politicians within that party can claim that same distinction? While the failures of investing your own integrity and purpose in such political organizations should be quite obvious, many still are determined to wear the party label. So what can a staunch GOP supporter do when their President self implodes?

Nuke Countdown Starts

Are you prepared for a mushroom cloud over a major American city? It is hard to imagine how it is possible to protect our own people, as the world spins out of control. The talk that a home made dirty nuke is a real possibility, deflects the prospects that a smart briefcase bomb is in the loop. Fear is a natural response to the unthinkable. However, as long as a culture of refusal persists, the risks continue to escalate.

Two Elections - Different Results - Same Outcome

Elections in Spain and Russia - one a surprise, the other a forgone conclusion. The Spanish are ready to yell Yankee go home and Russians give the Kremlin the green light to expand their dominion. Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, no household name, benefits from the Madrid bombings. Vladimir Putin, a known commodity, counts the returns with the backdrop burning of the Manege building. The Iberian peninsula turns toward socialism while Chechnya readies for a return to steps that are reminiscent of the past.

Justice Demands NO Tolerance

Gordon Thomas writes in the American Free Press: “President Clinton’s close friend, a billionaire and fugitive from justice, was a top Mossad source”. The saga of Marc Rich will go down in the annals of betrayal as proof positive that the United States government is a tool of Zionist policy. Since this verdict is so painful for the apologist’s of Israel to confront, those who dare speak out, risk the wrath of cowards. Well, what’s the point of an existence of serenity, if it is founded upon a malicious lie?

Ivan the Terrible Resuscitated

The most famous of all Muscovites was Ivan IV. As the head of a religious civilization, Ivan the Terrible had every aspect of domestic activity ritualized through semimonastic rules of conduct, preserved in a book called the Domostroi. The consequence of this radical monasticization of society was the virtual elimination of secular culture in the course of the sixteenth century. The legacy of Marxism lies in the deeds of Lenin and Stalin. The religion of these tyrants was the State. Vladimir Putin has demonstrated that little has changed in the harsh climate of the Kremlin. This is Sergei Dorenko’s assessment of recent Russian history.

The 'War of Terror'

Are you sick of hearing about 911? By now most folks can’t remember a time before Homeland Security. The media doesn’t just have an agenda, they have no other news. EVERYTHING is related to that fateful day. Over and over the guilt trips are set and the implication that if you don’t cede your rational capacity to the collective will, you are disloyal. Unquestionably the country has long passed the denial stage and has entered into a constant hallucinatory state. Spend any amount, endure every loss of freedom and pay homage to the dictatorship that keeps us safe. We aren’t fighting a war against terror, it has become a "war of terror".

Howard Beale: Where Are You?

There has never been a more fitting time to resurrect the sermons of our prophet of doom. Mad as hell, just doesn’t mean the same any longer; and who among us, are not willing to take it any more? It doesn’t get any worse, the last straw has been broken, as the courts suck and siphon the last sustenance from society. The Massachusetts high court has just penetrated our privates with their perversion. Rule by precedent is a pretext for legal repression, imposed under the guise of equal rights. Outrage is not enough for their arrogance. The impending outlook of ruin is no longer placed into the future. The future has become now, and there will be no reprieve.

The Long Yawn

The majority has succumbed to the "Big Sleep", now the rest of the public is delivered into the ‘long yawn’. If you were thrilled by the Iowa caucus, you are deprived of needed rest. The victory performance by Howard Dean for coming in a show position is a script worthy of Saturday Night Live. Whatever drugs he is on, Judy Steinberg Dean should prescribe a lower dose. Such a power couple is what nightmares are made of. Dick ‘Howdy Doody’ Gephardt showed he was a Clarabell and John Edwards demonstrated he would be a fine snake oil salesman. Soon New Hampshire will trash Wes Clark and send Joe Lieberman packing for home.

BETRAYAL: Bush’s immigration legacy

"True Believers" in the lunacy that has become American politics have lost all sense of reality. This dementia especially applies to supports of George W Bush. The most contemptible treachery in recent times comes from the utmost bait and switch scam that threatens the very survival of America. The Bush double-cross will invite Pancho Villa to pillage your community and grant him amnesty so he can count the loot. The Quisling President has proposed immigration-law changes to allow workers from Mexico to enter the United States if they have jobs waiting for them. Those magical job offers at a time when systemic unemployment is rampant, is like offering a bone to a rabid dog. The canine will eat it clean and then infect a horrible death upon the hand that feed him.

The Intentional Tourist

Few endeavors are more instructional than traveling to a foreign country. Whether the experience is a positive or a burden depends significantly on the selections of your destination. The process and means of going abroad, has changed from sailing to buckling into an airplane seat. Driving north to visit Canadians doesn’t require the same skills to plunge south of the border. But making the leap across the pond for a European adventure requires a second mortgage to go first class. Even more daring is required to head west and visit the East. So why in an era of uncertainty should the wayfarer venture into the unknown?

Year End Christmas List

Now that another year of the Bush administration ends, what is the record? You hear the inquiry are we any safer from the Dean candidacy, but that’s not the best question. What each of us should ask: are we any better. Better means more than improved or feeling good. It means whether we as a country are any closer to the purpose of why we are a nation. If you define the query in simply political terms, the essential elements that make life worth living would evade the list. Judge for yourselves.

Why be afraid of a trade war?

Before you dismiss such a question, you better read Tariffs For Survival Or Profits For Multinationals. The arguments used are even more valid after a year and a half. President George W Bush has proven he is a bigger whimp than his father. The reversal on his effective relief for the steel industry is a decision made by a man who capitulates to the real terrorists. Just savor the joy coming from the other side of the pond. "We in Europe, by standing together, by using the World Trade Organization and saying 'we're going to uphold the rules of world trade,' we've played our hand very, very effectively indeed." -- British Trade Secretary Patricia Hewitt, on SKY TV News.

How much gold is enough?

Many people have an ambiguous understanding of the nature of GOLD. The financial manipulators have no such deficiency. They fear gold for a very good reason - it places the brakes on the systematic destruction of currencies. Look at it this way. Historically, currencies have recurrently been destroyed - becoming worthless. If only those confederate notes could still buy an antebellum mansion. Gold can never go to zero.

The UK in serious decline

President Bush has a warm reception awaiting him when he visits London. The BBC reports that the UK is officially on high alert, but within this is a tier of internal and usually secret levels - which have gone from "substantial" to "severe general". The internal alerts are for the security services only, including the police, the army, MI6 and MI5, and not usually made public. BBC home affairs correspondent Margaret Gilmore is quoted as saying:

Taxes Made Simple

The overriding operative standard in most financial decisions is their tax implications. While most people will deny this parameter, the effective net result is that an unconscious disconnect from strictly economic factors, permeates business judgments. The most basic rules for assessing the specific merits and beneficial reward for a transaction is violated by the ultimate silent partner - the taxman. This is reality, wearing its most unpleasant face.

The Dollar is Doomed

“Record-low interest rates encourage present consumption and generate massive debt.  In just five years, total financial as well as nonfinancial American debt has surged by 51 percent or $10.9 trillion to more than $32 trillion, three times the annual Gross National Product.  The Federal government itself is chafing under a $6.8 trillion debt and adding $1.6 billion a day.  At present interest rates, this debt alone commands charges of $300 billion a year, or more than $1,000 per man, woman, and child.”  According to Hans F. Sennholz in his essay - Saving the Dollar from Destruction - we are presented with a bleak financial future.

When Old Time Radio Reigned

The 40’s and 50’s seem like a time from another life. Most audiences remember that era only as part of a history lesson. The “Golden Age of Radio” is long gone, but for anyone who has the chance to listen to the programs that entertained an entire nation, the lessons of that time are self revealing. Jack Benny’s life was as assessable as a close member of your own family. Fibber McGee was always living the Life of Riley, as Our Miss Brooks readied herself for another Burns and Allen visit.

Jobs, Votes And Gender

As the exodus of well rewarded jobs leave our shores or evaporate as downsizing efficiency marches onward, we are left with an inevitable conclusion. Life is getting harder, earning a livable income is more difficult and the prospects for the future are less upbeat. Covering all the reasons for this shift - away from a secure future - are continuous themes for pundits and reporters. The world is quite different from the fabulous fifties, when a father could support a family without working overtime.

Little Big Man on the NYSE

According to Old Lodge Skins:  "This will be the first time I have ever faced the whites as an enemy. I have always believed they had a reason for what they did and I still do. They are strange and do not seem to know where the center of the world is. And because of that, I have never liked them but never hated them either. However, recently they have been behaving badly towards the Human Beings. Therefore, we must rub them out."

Speech Reform Campaign

WOW! It’s like dodging a bullet. Just imagine a political campaign that broadcasts issue ads financed with unregulated donations? Think about it - permitting messages aired 60 days before a general election and 30 days before a primary election if they identify a federal candidate. What’s next - endorsement of specific issues? Aren’t you glad the Supreme Court has seen fit to convene their first special session in 27 years to pronounce from on high the allowable limits of free speech? We all know you can’t shout fire in a crowded playhouse. So what would lead all those misguided minds to conclude that the script for the theater of the absurd should be rewritten to alter the last act? We all know that reasonable people can make intelligent choices - just look at, who the actual voters are, that turn out for the election!

Cruising with Cruz

That great defender of the MEChA and their Aztlan goals is at it again. Cruz Bustamante compares himself to Danny DeVito in his role of Arnold’s twin, but falls well short. If the former steroid man is not your kind of running man or action hero, don’t think that Bustamante is a user friendly version of Louie DePalma. You remember that Taxi sadistic dispatcher at the Sunshine Cab Company? The role that made DeVito famous, won’t put the Lt. Governor on cruise control.
